TICKETS - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Why do we need a car pass?

We have limited parking on the Estate, and you will need your car pass to secure your space on the night. Our event team stewards will direct you to a parking spot when you arrive.

Can we buy tickets at the event?

Sorry no! All tickets must be bought in advance, there will be no ticket sales on site.

Are kids tickets free?

Kids aged 3 and under are free. Kids aged between 4 and 15 inclusive will need their own tickets.

Do you offer discounts for group bookings?

Sorry not for this event.

Do you offer carers tickets?

Yes - to apply for a carers ticket, please head over to our sister event Fawkes Festival here.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

We are sorry refunds are not offered, and tickets are not transferrable to another event.

What if there is another lockdown and events are cancelled will we I get a refund?

If the event is cancelled due to Scottish Government regulations, we will offer you a refund, minus the booking fee. You will receive an email with instructions on how to apply for the refund.

Do we need to print our tickets?

No! As part of our sustainability goals for this event, please don’t print your tickets, please present them on your phone - thank you

ACCESS & PARKING - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Why do we need a free car pass?

We have limited parking on the Estate, and you will need your car pass to secure your space on the night. Our event team stewards will direct you to a parking spot when you arrive. Please note that all parking (apart from disabled parking) is on grass.

What time should we arrive?

The event site opens at 1600 hours, last access is 1800 hours. Please do not arrive late, you will not be given access - thank you!

What if we arrive late?

We are unable to admit anyone to the event site after 1800 hours, please ensure you arrive before this time.

Do you offer blue badge parking?

Yes we do, our Stewards will direct you to this area on arrival. Please ensure your badge is displayed clearly in your windscreen.

Can we get a bus to the event?

No, unfortunately there are no bus routes that come close to the event. We have one designated taxi drop off and pick up area, please inform your driver they MUST follow the dedicated signs to avoid going against the traffic flow and causing obstruction.

Can we get a taxi to the event?

Yes you can! You MUST advise your driver to enter from A904 using the ‘from Edinburgh / East’ directions - this will take you to the taxi drop off point and allow our stewards to direct your taxi back out of the Estate. The drop off point will be your pick up point too.

Please note that for pick up at the end of the night the access details are not the same as for arrival - taxis must not come in via the A904. We kindly ask all taxi bookings contact us on hopetounfireworks@21ccgroup.com for pick up access details for you to share with your taxi provider.

Can we get Mum / Dad / Grandpa etc to drop us off and pick us up?

Yes you can! You MUST advise your driver to enter from A904 using the ‘from Edinburgh / East’ directions - this will take you to the drop off point and allow our stewards to direct your nice driver back out of the Estate. The drop off point will be your pick up point too and your driver must come back in the same way they exited and not from the A904.

Please note that for pick up at the end of the night the access details are not the same as for arrival - vehicles must not come in via the A904. Access and pick up details will be emailed to your pre event - please contact us if you have any questions on hopetounfireworks@21ccgroup.com

Can we walk to the event?

Yes. The safest route by foot is along the Shore Road. Please be aware that this is an emergency vehicle access route and it is also a back up route should the main exit road become overly congested on exit. We therefore encourage you bring torches and dress children in bright colours/high vis.

What is the ground like?

The disabled parking (blue badge) is on gravel, and there is a mixture of gravel and grass on the site. There are no steps other than into the accessible loo - and this is ramped.

Are there accessible toilets?

Yes - located within the Stables building on the right hand side of the house, access into the building is a short ramp.

Do you provide wheelchairs?

We are unable to provide wheelchairs or any other mobility aids.

Do you offer blue badge parking?

Yes we do, our Stewards will direct you to this area on arrival. Please ensure your badge is displayed clearly in your windscreen.

THE EVENT - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Is there food available at the event?

Oh yes! Gourmet burgers, burritos, haggis, hot dogs and woodfired pizzas all washed down with tasty coffee, hot chocolates and mallows, and don’t forget our sweetie stand! Of course there are vegan and gluton free options too.

Is it cards or cash?

Both are good!

Is there any other entertainment?

Yes, we have our MC on site with some chat and music, our firedancers, funfair rides, our huge bonfire and then……THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY!

Do I have to pay for the funfair rides?

Yes all the funfair rides are chargeable, they are not included in your ticket price

Have you got a Waltzer and other big fairground rides?

No, our fairground rides are for the kids, little and big (that’s where the bungee ride comes in), but no big giant rides

Is there a film showing?

No, this is a fireworks extravaganza where the fireworks are fired to music - the music will be from well known movies!

Can I bring my dog / sparklers / BBQ / picnic table / fireworks / alcohol / Gran?

Please don’t bring your dog unless he / she is an assistance dog. This is a major fireworks display and is loud, along with accompanying music. Please also do not bring any pets and leave them in your car - they may become distressed during the fireworks.

Please don’t bring sparklers or any fireworks. 21CC Fireworks will be providing the best firework display - no other fireworks are allowed on this site.

We are happy for you to bring camping chairs and rugs, but please do not bring tables or BBQs.

This is an alcohol free event, please do not bring any into the site. There are also no alcohol sales on the night.

Yes you can bring your Gran and your Grandpa, Nana and Pops too - we are sure they will love it!

Does it end after the fireworks display?

No! You are welcome to stay, grab some more food, enjoy the rides once again and mosey back to your car. The event closes at 7.45pm.

Do you have a system in place for lost children?

We recommend dressing your young ones in bright clothing and if possible putting a copy of your contact details in their pockets just in case. Our event staff are fully briefed and have agreed systems in place to ensure the safe return of your children in the unlikely event of them getting lost. 

Can we bring a buggy or a pram?

Yes, please bear in mind you’ll be parking on grass but the main event arena is hard standing. 

THE WEATHER - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Will the event go ahead if it’s raining?

Yes! The only weather which may cause the event to be cancelled is very high winds. In the unlikely event we have to cancel then announcements will be made on the event’s

dedicated Facebook Event and here on our website

What should I wear?

Dress warmly and wear flat waterproof shoes, much of the event is on grass and remember this is almost winter time. In the words of the great Billy Connolly, there is no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes!
